due to the Onslaught tour getting cancelled. 4 bands were lost. Out of the ashes of that comes new announcements.....

the first band to fill the void. classic metal blade recording thrashers.....

I remember checking them out many years ago and digging them.

Just went to ITUNES to check out some more again after seeing the FB announcement.

I think the idea is that BT are "headlining" the 2nd stage.

exactly. Borrowed Time came to Mike about playing the second stage. They pretty much want to come and support the fest aka all buying tickets even and wanting to play with thier freinds in Demon Bitch and others. Nice to see bands still about supporting stuff and not just about themselves.
 
yeah they are. For a band who is doing Keep it True and other high profile shows they could be more selective on shows but they just love playing and having fun. More bands need to follow thier lead. Mike was shocked when they contacted him again for the second stage but they knew it would help the fest in the end.
 
Well, sure, they are having a full length coming out.
You have to play all the gigs you can! I agree, they do their band right.
With all the forums JP is on, I am surprised he doesn't market his band here actually.

So is Gene Hoglan a permanent member of VIKING now?
Man, that should be marketed to its fullest potential.
