Replacing POD Farm's American Classic Preamp with an IR

Have you ever used the American Classic Preamp on the guitars? Let me know your thoughts regarding this.

Very very interesting. I did the same thing with Pro-Tools D-Verb. I don't have pro-tools (I use reaper) but I was able to get behind a computer with pro-tools and made several IRs (different lengths/decays) of the infamous Medium Room.

I think, that's always useful to get into a plugin's functioning a bit deeper. That knowledge may not only give you an ability to replicate the plugin with an IR, but also to understand its possibilities better sometimes.
