Residents in Matt's area ( Athens ), I've got a strange question

Recently I got two phish attempts for paypal. This would be pretty normal, except for this time, instead of urls to go to, it was a phone number!

So, I tried to look the number up, but to no avail. From what I've seen online
1-706-247-7801 is a number to somewhere in Northern Georgia. First of all, I wanted to confirm that, and second, I'd like to pass it on to the appropriate Georgia authorities if possible.

Make sure you forward the email sent to you to: spoof@paypal.com

They'll investigate it and report it to the proper authorities.

I always do that, and ended up doing that anyway when no local authorities replied
