Resurrection through Carnage guitar tone

Hi there.

I've been wondering... listening to this album, and the Breeding Death EP, I've noticed the guitar tone is really distinctive; it has a wall-of-noise type effect that makes it sound like the amps are on fire. Does anyone here know how this effect is achieved, or what setup was used? I've heard somewhere else that Mikael uses Laney amps, but can't seem to find any evidence of either his or Anders or Jonas' actual guitar setup. That said, I don't have the album book to hand, which I suppose is the obvious place to look...

They use a Boss HM-2 pedal with a Marshall Tube amp.

lol it's tuned to standard B but the lowest string tuned to 1 step lower

hum....i think it's drop. just one step lower sounds a little off and wouldn't make much sense

I thought it's AEADF#b but i tried the songs in BEADF#b and yeah it's B

The real tuning was BEADG with the 5 string.
