The year is almost a chapter in the past now. Good enough to ponder if it's been a "good" year, or not? Any moment that has moved you deeply this year, that had a profound impact on your life? Moments of light and darkness?

For me, it's been perhaps the most important year so far, I came to know Fjell this year, fall in love with her... she changed my whole life, made it whole. Everything else seems to bleach against that :) It was a year of dreams and plans for the future, I hope all of them will come true. It's been a workful year. too... tho that was not too bad...

It has been a good year for me as well. I've met new friends from
other countries, and had a lot of fun, but most importantly, like Ziu,
I've found someone to fall in love with (even though he's not
a metalhead;))
Life couldn't be much better than it is right now.

Oi.... Hmmm... time to actually sit back and think... :eek:P

I see this year as the year when things started
happening!) Loads of great gigs, alot of great albums,
good bands, fantastic songs... The year when I really
started writing...)

Can't think of too many other things right now. Well...
I've learned to know alot of great people. It has been
good, too bad some of these are Swedish and will move
back home in not too long :eek:/ But still, it was great
knowing them while I could )

I think this was the year of dreams, wishes and hopes.
And so will the next one be )

Yeah this year has been great!

It was my first time moving away from home and to start studying something that actually interests me! I have met a lot of new people and made some great friends along the way. Also got to really visit the mountains last summer instead of driving by them in a hurry to get to Seattle hehe. To top it all off some really good music came out as well so I am a happy person :D

This year has been...ok...I guess...
Ive experienced some good/great things and some bad/horrible things...so overall an ok year...

Great first half, devaststing second. I guess that last part is what makes me remember this year, so I guess the year has been my worst ever...

Then again, I´ve had a great time in many concerts, and festivals, where I met many of you ppl, that was really fun! Looking forward to next years festivities which I hope I can attend to, just to make _your_ life great/miserable...;) AND well, we are back on track writing new stuff and we have all members back from military, so we are alive and kicking once more!

Hmmmm... more stuff... Nah, I guess my memory is flawed as usuall...

...uumm..about school..even if i'm tired to go there, i changed some things and i'm doing very well now.
I also knew new people, nice people..i feel more and more good with close friends, never thought i could be so close to a person(friend)..
About love...all i found in this year has already ended, so i'm alone again, but i must say i've learned something more...maybe...bad thing is that obviously i learn things only when i loose someone

...well i'm on UM now, this is great for me, also because i don't know english well, and this has been sort of a school ;)

Hm, I had a lot of bad luck this year, car accident in Feb., then my accident in Norway caused a not to small financial loss and kept me off work for many months and I still suffer from it... my company is shutting the dept. I'm working at, yet it's not 100% sure if we can stay at the company or have to search for a new job. That caused a lot of stupid reacting of work "mates"
The "split" of a great band I know well (mean members personally)

BUT, there were some really nice highlights this year too, which let me forget all the shit. Celebrated into this year with some great friends. Met my Swedish dudes in Germany and spent a great time in Bochum and Heidelberg. Met some really nice people from UM at festivals and gigs, saw Vintersorg 1x and Borknagar 2x live, met Mr. V and the Borkies, as well as the Supervisor Marklund. The "birth" of Morrigan's Pit ( like to thank all bands/musician/labels who giving us a great support), had a great B-day party in Monschau with my great friends and a "great" photo session *rotflmao* Met a lot of people from the PM forums/Seismic radio. at the ProgPower Europe festival and had lots of fun with lots of bands :D Most of all it was nice meeting Eric and Sue again, I had seen last time in Gothenburg/Sweden August 2001. Bought lotsa albums, got lotsa promos (still have to review some)... some nice wishes came true... greetings to all my friends around the globe, you all rule!

Only 3 more days to work, then I have 2 weeks off, spending time with the family at X-mas (well it will be nice), then my bro's Birthday, then my mom's Birthday and then I'll celebrate into the New Year with my friends  @ Gauny...

My wish for next year... NO accident (hehehehe...) or sickness, lotsa happiness, that it become a great Morrigan's Pit year. A good and interesting job which pays my bills.
Hope to meet as many friends as possible... and that I'll learn Swedish and Norwegain... and php...
And of course that I see a lot of bands live... esp. Vintersorg, Borkies, Lunaris, Suidakra... ok, the list will get far to big if I carry on... hehehe

hehehe...Morg, your view back (and also the view the future) reads like mine at times.. :D (no wonder.... ;) )
That's all about the highlights of the year though - which isn't too bad after all, it's just that I'm always sooo negative about everything.

Though the year is not over yet but here is my `review` from 2002 so far: have been many great shows and been in Wacken again where I`ve many nice ppl included you, forum members. Made some new friends from other countries as well. And lately a cool guy got interested in me, seems we like a lot in common and have similar interest but I may meet him only next year.. we will see..
Started to write in English too and got some positive feedback from bands :D
At work it was worse, have been through some shitty times and we are looking forward for a new reorganization from January and everybody is worrying.

In some way it was a better year then the year before, but in other things it was worse..

it will be short review of 2002 ever:
i have got wife and son... registered on UM and HMAS (that's mean i have many great friends via internet - THANK YOU!), bought/trade many great albums... that's all folks. great, but also very hard year...

adding to my previous post (things that i'm thinking right now ;) ):
This year hasn't been easy for me neither...expecially last summer, but at least it hasn't been so bad like the autumn of 2001....

well, i wish everyone a wonderful 2003: full of happiness and.....alcohol!!!! (i've had enough of it lately though ;) )
