2. Green Carnation-Light Of Day, Day Of Darkness (It may have been released here in America late last year but I got it in February of this year..Close enough, and a brilliant album!)

    Honorable mention-Arch Enemy-Wages Of Sin (I couldn't vote this in since it has been around for quite a long time, and was just delayed here in America, but it's a great album!)
    Non-Metal album of the year(technically Audioslave would take this if you don't consider them metal, I do)-Tom Petty-The Last DJ
    
    I'd have to say it's been a pretty good year although I think last year was definitely better!
