Montreal is highly superior for metal, I found one good place for metal in Vancouver which pales in comparison to any medley, metropolis, soda, basement or barge show in Montreal. Any shows on the horizon, small or big, in the city? If any heavy band needs a place to stay between Boston and Motreal, I own two houses in Burlington VT that are metal friendly with plenty of couch space and parking, and even a sick venue in the basement with a bar for metal shows on the fly.
