This bad boy leaked and boy what an appetiser it is for the album proper. On the way to Ainor takes a while to get going but soon picks the pace up. The chorus is totally amazing and the choirs and general melodic atmosphere will send you into raptures. Reign of Terror is rhaposdy's foray into symphonic blackened power metal but don't worry the melodic choirs are still huge. This song is based around speed! It's probably one of the fastest songs Luca has ever written and he shreds like a mutha on this song. Not sure if that's Fabio doing the blackish screams but they are not too obtrusive and are mostly double tracked with Fabio's normal voice. Both the above songs are 7 minutes long and trust me there's not a wasted second. Sea of Fate is the song that most people have heard and is the least good of the three but still good. Rhapsody fans I think we are going to be very happy with this album!

RHAPSODY was supposed to do a black metal album about ten years or so ago under the name RHAPSODY IN BLACK, but they abandoned the idea.

i don't remember it being a black metal album per say, it was supposed to be "darker" but not full on black metal.

It was going to be a one-off project called Rhapsody in Black. It was their idea but they later gave up on it. Why would I make this up? They were going to do it, but didn't. Simple as that.
