Rhythm Guitar Low End

I know guitar without bass is like dick without balls...

But besides the bass influence on the guitar sound what frequency range do you find the fullness of the low end in rhythm guitars... i am having no luck... i either hit a harmonic frequency of it just smothers it.

EQ a couple of dbs in at 100 to 150 HZ with a Q of 1. Its subtle but does the trick.

get some multiband compression in there, it can allow you to rack up the low end a bit without it getting boomy

usually i dial in fuckloads of bass and then notch out the rumble at 100hz, then i multiband comp 100hz-250hz a little bit to keep it under control
leaves room for bass guitar to sit in that space for the epic low end, and then ive recently taken to using really clicky kicks and then adding in some 60hz for the beef, rather than 100-200hz.
I feel pretty happy with the low end in my mixes using this method.
