I also feel that "VII" is At Vance's best album since "Only Human." I did not care for the 2 previous albums with Mats Leven, as he is nowhere near the vocalist Oliver Hartmann is. Altzi's vocals are great, and at times he sounds almost exactly like Hartmann, such as on "Cold As Ice."
I first heard Rick on the Treasure Land demos, and thought he sounded excellent. So when I heard he left Treasure Land for At Vance I was a bit disappointed that he wouldn't be singing for Treasure Land, but happy that he'd be greatly improving the singer position in At Vance. And he certainly delivered on the "VII" album.
I'm really looking forward to the new At Vance album, as well as the Thunderstone and Frequency releases that Rick will be singing on.
