Rigged Top 20 - Exhibit A

wouldnt u say the anthrax votes are rigged too,it shuld be 1 vote per person, letting 1 person vote multiple times defeats the purpose.
:Puke:

You're not helping at all, but I will waste my time answering anyway. EVERY OTHER BAND IS DOING THE SAME DAMN THING.

It's like an election, it doesn't matter who the majority of people want. It only matters who votes.

We have a saying in Chicago: Vote Early and vote often, looks like it is paying off for our hometown boys this time!

I don't think it's rigged. I think it's a delayed tallying of the votes. Friday, Justin and I were voting hella when Thrax down by 1%. We kept voting and voting. For hella long time, nothing changed. Then we jumped to a tie, then long time again nothing. Finally, we jumped ahead to a 20-18 lead out of nowhere. I think it's a delayed tallying.

The reason it looks rigged is not that other bands are getting votes. It's that bands that weren't even in the top 20 last week are now suddenly #2 and #3 and fighting hard.

If they were bands that were consistently in the top 5, or even the top 10, it would look more like an actual election. Bands coming out of nowhere with that many votes behind them look a bit fishy.

Could it also be that other people who, for some odd reason, DON'T like Anthrax and want to hear something else? I think that's how Kennedy got elected.

Kennedy got elected because people didn't want to hear Anthrax? That's no reason to vote for a president! Vote for them because you like their hair, or their name sounds cool. Hell, if you really want I guess you could vote for someone because you actually believe they will do the things they say they will do. But don't vote for someone because you don't want to hear Anthrax. That's just wrong.

Not only that, but bands seem to get dropped from the voting list for no apparent reason. Iron Maiden finished in the top five for several weeks (including finishing second a couple of times and damn near beating Anthrax one week) and was removed from the list. Then you have bands like A Perfect Circle with their song "Weak and Powerless" which has been out a long time and has not finished in the top 20 for a while, if at all. I went back to November and did not see it, and it currently has 0%. There isn't another song that could replace it? Yet Iron Maiden has a new single, they have a history of doing well in the voting, and they are nowhere to be seen. They have a Damageplan song on there, but it isn't the one they have the video out for. Their list makes no sense.

Actually, the way the bands/songs get picked each week is based on requests throughout the week and who did well the week before. I can tell you that the reason that these bands that were not on the list earlier, i.e. Drowning Pool made it up to the top is actually due to voting. Drowning Pool is in Chicago recording and when they went up against SOiL in fight club, they called in and voted for SOiL. I personally thought it was so nice that when I had nervous energy on Saturday with an hour to spare, I spent that hour voting for both SOiL and Drowning Pool, hence moving them up the chart.

In all honesty I have to hand it to your guys, you are some dedicated motherfuckers! I think it is an honor for SOiL to come in second to Anthrax. Keep up the good work!
