RIP Adam, Thought go out to his family and friends. I was never a huge Beastie Boys fan, but I did take a girlfriend to see them back in 1987 with Public Enemy and Murphy's Law (anyone remember them). It's was right after the Beastie Boys really broke into the public eye with "Licensed to Ill" which Rolling Stone reviewed with the headline "Three idiots create a masterpiece". Was never really my cup of tea, but my girlfriend loved it so - well you know.
