I was playing a gig in Sitka, Alaska and this seriously drunk chick came up to the stage in front of me and was trying to make a song request (during another song). While she was trying to talk to me she grabbed hold of my keyboard stand with one hand. When she was done talking to me she walked away but neglected to release her grip on the stand. Only a quick move by me (I was playing bass at the time) allowed me to save a couple thousand bucks worth of keyboards from falling about 8-10 feet to the dance floor.

We did have a PA speaker fall off the top of a big ol' subwoofer. It had just vibrated all night and migrated off to one side until....BAM. Luckily nobody got crushed!
