Hey everyone,
I don't have many chances to post on here, but I was hoping to get some opinions on this mix I'm working on. I know it needs a lot of work, but I would appreciate some ears to point me in the right direction. There are no vocals yet, but the drums, guitars and bass are there.

Sound like quarter pounder with cheese

Guitars are a bit too loud and fizzy, maybe drop them down and bring the bass up, arrangement wise it's a bit disjointed so that usually hurts the "sound" as well.

It definitely sounds like the drums mix doesn't suit the style. Particularly the snare sounds a little too verby and big. I like the guitar but they have no dynamic. Maybe some compression could help there, if used well? My only real critic is the snare it's a bit to tubby and maybe a touch too loud. I think with good mastering this mix could really come alive,

Thanks for the suggestions so far, I will start working on the changes soon. I had a feeling about the guitar tone and the snare, so it's nice to get confirmation from others.
