Hm... maybe he actually wants to be a bit of a nomad and hop between bands. I can't say joining Malmsteen is the kind of thing I'd do if I was after stability (and could actually sing in the first place ).

What's wrong with him joining Malmsteen!?

That's an honour, Malmsteen's had some of the best singers in rock & metal, in particular Soto (nothing wrong with being the next Soto, what a career he has had!!!), Joe Lynn Turner (love his first solo album), and Mattias from Treat & Swedish Erotica who has an amaaazing voice! Then add to that list Boals & Goran...

I reckon Ripper should be thrilled at that!
