RiR DVD Review

mmm ... still hav'nt got it yet due to all the negative feedback from those on hear who have seen it , but one should make there on mind up not follow the flock .....

I finally finished watching it last week and was pleasantly surprised. Certainly not a state-of-the-art DVD by anyone's standards, and the video and audio aren't exactly top of the range, but it's a good gig and a good show. Just make sure you don't pay $50 for it!

I bought it earlier this week. Now I just need a DVD player to watch it on. For anyone who cares, it's on sale at the JB HiFi DVD Superstore in Melbourne for $35, and the NOTB classic album thingy is $25

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If the live version of Hallowed on the NOTB Classic Albums thingo is indicative of RiR as a whole, I'm not interested. Does anyone else get a lot of popping and clicking when they play it, or have I just set up my speakers wrongly?

I can't even remember what the version of Hallowed was like on Classic Albums. The sound drops out a lot in volume (not from loud to silent, just fluctuates now and then) which can be a bit annoying, and the video isn't crystal clear or anything. Still, a good show, much better than I expected. Pity Steve edited it.
