I see what you mean with the rip off outlook-wise (or however it is written) but musically I didn´t think they are that much the same. But I only listened one song...

interesting that their myspace says 'sounds like : Hypocrisy, At The Gates, Dissection, In Flames'

none of those sound at all the same. death metal, old skool melodeath, gothenburg, and atmospheric melodeath...

gave their newest listen a once over, it sounds a lot more like mid-era In Flames to me than anything else, but there are a few moments with a hypocrisyesque riff.
