I have been messing around with my amp and impulses quite a bit, already made some progress, but I am still not satisfied and seem to be kinda stuck right now. No matter what impulses I use, compared to other people on here, my guitars always sound kinda distant and roomy. Maybe you can take a listen and give me some advice?
First clip is a "full mix", drumloop is borrowed from someone at harmony-central amp forum, so I have no control over the individual instruments, anyways, just want to give you some context for the guitars. In this one, I used some multiband compression, eq and a plug-in called transient monster on the guitar group track.

The second clip is just the raw guitars without any processing besides the impulse itself. The signalchain was
viper 407-boss ge7-effect loop send- instrument in on tc konnekt 8 interface - cubase studio 4 - pristine space with guitar hack impulse

My last thought was maybe I have an impedance mismatch going from the amps loop into the instrument in, but from what I read, it should be no problem going from a low-z out to a high-z in.
