Rivera Knucklehead

A couple of weeks ago i played on a rivera Knucklehead at my local music store, and i was really impressed with the heavy distorion channel, does anyone on this board have experience recording with a knucklehead (amp)?

I used to have one with a matching cab. It was alright... I switched out the cab to a Diezel cab, and it was great. I found it a bit tweaky in dialing in tones... took quite a while, but once you had it, it was phenomenal.

Definitely more defined than many amps, but at the same time a bit more gritty...

I owned a KHII for awhile. I ran it through a slant VHT Fat Bottom 412.

WAAAAYYYYY too bassy. I wasn't able to record it as I didn't have the proper equipment at the time, but I can't imagine that it would have sounded good.

I almost bought one of these 55 watt version over my 5150. Never recorded one though.
