This question is to all the guys here that know something about hitting the road with their band for another country, the thing is, we have some shows in another countries soon, but i dont know if i could take my amp head ? so i was wondering if i should buy like a pod x3 live or the boss gt-10 only for playing live, or should i take my amp head to every where i go ? thanks in advance !

I'd go for the POD or the Gt10. Things that travel tend to break faster, so the cheapest of them both.

Most definitely - don't bother dude, seriously; not only do you have to worry about reliability/damage and weight, but also potential theft...

How far will you be traveling??
I personally would never be able to gel with a POD for live tones. I need to have my rig, or an acceptable tube amp rig to be happy.
I would either buy a flight case for your head, or secure a head at each of your gigs from another band.

Take whatever gives you the clearest note definition (particular low notes, i've been to too many gigs where you couldn't really tell what notes where in the riffs down low. As far as live guitars in metal go, that's the important thing. It's all so loud that the subtleties of tone are rendered pretty meaningless, but note definition becomes increasingly more important
Anything at all harsh sounding is also a bad move, as that harshness at high volumes is going to be nasty

Its going to be in September i think, or October, we are also going to other countries first, i think its like 3 countries from south america, then going up till mexico or maybe to the states if we could get some visas..
