Need thoughts on the mix...vocals too loud in the beginning? Bass too loud and wooofy?

This is an old song but I finally attempted to mix it myself since I really want to start learning

hey buddy! guitars are a little edgy... hard to describe, but i think they could be smoother (maybe less 3k), also mix is pumping too much for my taste, makes it feel distant.

vocals could go down a little, feels disconnected from the music. really like the snare! whats that?

Snare is superior 2 with two slate snares and a shit load of eq and gclip.
