Rocklahoma 2010 lineup

it's not any more disappointing than last years attendance. I loved the lineup the past two years, I live and breath that era, but the fest needed a booster shot. If this is the solution remains to be seen..........

Given that a few of the bands listed play Ozzfest every so often, I'd say that they'll get a decent draw. Though it'll be a different kind of crowd.

And I would assume ZZ Top will draw, but I'm really not up to date on their current popularity.

Disappointing, but there are some real draws there. They got some really good bands in the modern rock genre. I don't think they'll have any trouble selling tickets.

They're no where near as popular as they once were. Usually they're either co-headlining or support it seems, and when they are headlining usually it's smaller venues like HOB. With that being said though, they will draw for this fest.

Meh...if I wanted to see these bands, I most certainly wouldn't drive to Oklahoma.

An 80's hairband fest would be cool if someone would try to do it on a smaller scale. I think these Rocklahoma guys were trying to recreate Wacken or something. A nice, large theater would do the trick for a vintage 80's hairband festival though.

When I become a rich man, I might just do that!

Heck... I don't even recognize half of the bands on the roster.. and the ones I do most of which I don't care for... about the only ones I like are ZZ Top, Tesla and Cinderella. Not worth going all the way to Oklahoma to see this :erk:

Looks like it will just be ProgPower and MelodicRock Fest 2 this year. They should rename that fest, it's not the same anymore.

Agreed, but you would think that if they were going to change it so much, then they'd give the people that already plunked down $$$ for VIP tickets the chance to get a refund since it's not all what they originally signed up for.

They aren't a draw at all, but one of the smaller bands on the show, Taddy Porter, are damn good live. I saw them at the Planet Caravan Festival and they tore it up.
