Rogue Independent Music Festival

Rogue Fest is mostly composed of progressive rock bands, though I think there's sometimes those that are more on the metal side. Its in Atlanta, so just making some aware if they need something to do next weekend. Takes place July 7th & 8th. Not sure if I'll make it to there or not, perhaps Friday. We'll see.

Hmm, I know some of those bands -- Spaceseed is very Hawkwind-ish. Farpoint....I've got a demo of theirs around here; seems like they might be heavier than some of the other bands. Z-Axis have played at Dragon*Con years ago. The Lost Boys are friends of mine and easily the biggest performers at the Georgia Rennaissance Festival, although I'm shocked that they're not playing as Karma Lingo, their more-serious rock-band project.
I'm guessing that The Kindness of Strangers are influenced by Spock's Beard.


The name of the fest has always puzzled me, since neither Shadowkeep or The Cruxshadows are performing.
