long time since my last post, and yeah, im the "gain at 6" guy from Peru... LOL
Ok, so here's the question.
Since I understand most of metal drum parts are recorded using triggers on the kick snare and sometimes toms too, wouldn't it be logical to use an electronic drum kit as "real" as the V-Drums with the mesh pads and all? I mean, via the module you can have MIDI and then replace it with desired samples right? Kind of what a trigger does.
Is this a bad idea?
Oh by the way, using an Audiophile 2496, would it be possible to record drums using an electronic kit and then having all the drum tracks split for propper eq'ing and panning?
