I dig the vocals on the second song. Sounds kind of like pantera vocals. What stuff did you use for mixing guitars and drums. Guitars sound like a pod to me.
I always use the same stuff,DiscoDSP,for drum bus and master output.I like the caracter of it and to me,it can sound like an analog comp/with an overdrive 
like a distressor or like a simple bus compressor that is not so agressive.I do all in Nuendo and the transparesncy suffers because of it.For eq I use URS A-EQ,for compression on snareDr SSL Channel or ModernPlugz 1176/Distressor after I EQed and putted some room on the mono channel.AnwidaEQ,CubaseQ and LinphGEQ for surgery... ClassicReverb,Altiverrb,Dsound Rev and EMV90 for some room or whatever.Kickdrum has a small amounth of it's own trigger and API EQ.Guitars 6505+,gain on 7,and J&J custom guitar,playing on Peaveys own cab.3 mic's on it.SM57,Rode and ATM.The same setup on both side.
