The stock tubes in my 6505 are Ruby 6L6s...is that good? Apologies; my knowledge on tubes is crap. Would these just be stock Peavey crap with Ruby printed on or??

I think Ruby's are supposed to be pretty good, I just bought a set of their EL34's for my Dual Rec after reading about 'em from www.dougstubes.com
Here's a quote about the 6L6's - "This all new 6L6GC from the Shuguang factory with a thicker glass envelope and sturdy construction is designed to work in the most demanding applications with lots of punch and a sweet tone, very musical." Sounds good to me!
