Didn't see that coming as he was in good spirits the last months after his cancer treatment. I was bummed out, when they had to cancel the Sonisphere dates, but we just said to ourselves "Oh well, we'll catch them later... Dio's never gonna stop touring."

This: :kickass: is a salute to one of the greatest singers to ever grace the earth. His body may left us, but his voice and talent is immortalized in so many great records that have fundamentally changed the face of Heavy Metal.

My all time favorite singer.. I feel pride and strength just listening to him sing. I haven't been a big fan for that long. Saw him first at Wacken 2004 and I was enchanted( I only knew a few songs from Holy Diver prior to that). Then 2* 2006 with Dio( intimate, small gigs in Denmark) and 3* with Heaven and Hell(2007 and 2009, Denmark, Sweden rock and Wacken.). His music will always be with me. He was born in the same year as my father( he died a few months ago). Life can be brutal and delicate. Cherish it..

*listening to Rainbow eyes* BEAUTIFUL.

Interested to hear what Warrel has to say... although he is more of a Halford dude.
