Rush Time Machine Tour

That's just awesome...gonna have to catch more than one
of these shows. Nice start to my day!

Holy smokes!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summerfest on July 2nd...

Also at Summerfest on July 2nd........the Scorpions!!!!

The problem is that both will probably be headlining different stages at the same time.

Aw come on, you gonna tell me you still can't be in two places at the same time?!?!?!?

Would be nice to teleport between the two!

Last summer at Summerfest, Priest played at the exact same time as Whitesnake. Was a no brainer of course, but Summerfest obviously saw the package was coming through and was like, "Cool, two headliners right there!"

Decisions, decisions... Anyone know when Scorpions are going to release the whole US tour schedule?

Awesome. I'm glad you made the right choice, although seeing Priest would've been cool too. :p

Hahahahahahaha.......

I did see the tour again a couple weeks later in Chicago, and then got to see Whitesnake. Yeah, let's just say it is no surprise WS had to end that tour early. Coverdale's performance was about as pathetic as one could get. I almost felt bad for the guy. I am no WS hater or anything, as I do like a handful of their tunes, and LOVE his work with Purple.

I'm surprised you'd go to both, since one ticket cost $15 and the other $100 or so and Priest's set was identical the entire. Seemed like Summerfest was a no-brainer to me.

You know, I like Whitesnake, but I heard the same thing. A few people told me Coverdale couldn't handle that tour. I never got to see them live, and I'm not entirely sure I actually want to, considering how inconsistent he is now (some nights, he just plain sucks).

How is Halford live nowadays? I never got to see Priest live (never cared for the band to tell you the truth, let the flaming begin), but I heard he lost a lot of his "power" too. Is that true? I'm curious.

Can't believe you've never been that into priest. :waah:, but then again I'm probably one of the bigger Priest fanboys there are. So take it as you will, but I find for the most part Halford's voice holds up. He still wails especially hard on "Victim of Changes", the only difference I see is when he sings nowadays a lot of the time he is staring at the ground when he hits the highs but if you're talking sound quality, he's great in my opinion.

From the link above:

UPDATE - 4/8@12:14PM: The Summerfest date/venue that Rush.com had listed is incorrect. It should be July 3rd at the Marcus Amphitheater as originally expected. The Summerfest website will be making the official announcement later this afternoon. I'm gathering information on pre-sales as we speak and will be working on loading all the dates into the tour section over the next few days.

No worries for you.
