Rush Time Machine Tour

when he sings nowadays a lot of the time he is staring at the ground when he hits the highs

Well, kind of hard to read the teleprompter if you are looking up!!!!

His voice holds up pretty good.

Though avoid listening to BEYOND THE REALMS OF DEATH off of the TOUCH OF EVIL live CD from last year.....

I didn't pay a dime for either show.............

Makes much more sense now.

Interesting. I thought at Summerfest...I think he did it at Summerfest, he sounded good. Still haven't gotten around to getting that disc yet. Have been searching for a decent price of the import.

Cannot wait for the Atlanta date! Seeing "Vital Signs" and "Camera Eye" live are almost worth the no-doubt hefty price of the ticket alone! :kickass:

Additional bonus: we won't be seeing them do virtually the entire Snakes and Arrows CD again.

Every time I have seen Priest, I have somehow gotten free tickets!
Though I would happily pay to see them as well.

The Summerfest show seriously might be in my top 10 greatest live metal experiences of all time (and I have been going to shows since 1985!)

It was a killer show, even with a shorter set than I've seen them. It also was interesting to see them at a smaller stage.

Interesting that they did that on the last tour. I meant to see them but didn't. I do like that album a lot, though it obviously is no "Moving Pictures."

I was too late in terms of the pre-sale. However, I got a decent spot at the Summerfest show. I figured I go to that rather than the Chicago one, since the Summerfest one is on a Saturday and I won't ZERO risk of me missing this thing.

Yeah, I got the email this afternoon from Rush.com....and the presale had already started, at 10am. :waah:

(The Atlanta date is still well into the ticket-selling future, though.)

Please give me a heads up if you get any early info on when the Atlanta presale happens!

Thanks,

Neal

Got tix right when they went on sale this morning. Kinda lame, definitely hefty-- I opted not to go for the 'premier' package; 2 tix in the middle in the second tier of the covered area-- $210...

Definitely excited, though-- I've missed Rush every time they've come close...

I'm debating on going to this. Geddy said in an interview that they would be playing for 3 hours, which is awesome. The price is a little steep for my liking, so I'm still on the fence. If they play Necromancer, that alone would sway me into going. I'll probably wait and just get lawn seats for the Atlanta show if the setlist looks good.
