Russian people...

Reminds me of what happened in Spain recently, when an (illegal) immigrant lost his arm in a work accident (in a bakery's grinder IIRC).

So what did the employer do? He told him to STFU and even threatened him in case he would tell officials.

And if that wasn't bad enough: The boss went on to hide the severed arm. He just threw it in a trash can. Eventually, when the arm was discovered, it was too late to reconnect it to the body...

:zombie:

It's not them, it's the Wodka they drink that makes them act like this.

sad enough, there is some truth in this.
on the other hand people in Thailand start to laugh when somebody is hit by a car. seems their culture just didn't come up with the "right" reaction.

You can find that sort of thing all over the world.
Saw this in the news yesterday: In italy some guy got shot ín the street by the mafia and fled into a supermarket.Security cam filmed it, He just sat there 30 minutes bleeding to death next to the counters and the people just continued shopping. Surreal.

Well things went like this:
This romanian musician guy was there with his girlfriend, some camorra guys (another criminal organization like mafia) was there to kill someone else but unfortunately he was in the middle of the shooting so he got shoot.
People there didn't give a shit, I guess, thinking he was a criminal guy maybe, who knows, the poor guy of course died because of that.

Having never left the North American region I think Russia would be very interesting to visit--same for most east european countries

From that site you posted... care to explain this picture? Look at the black guy's facial expression :)
