Sad news for locals...

...Willy, the cook at Jaxx for, well, ever, died of a heart attack yesterday morning. Our condolences go out to the entire Jaxx family. He will be missed.

"He was going to help his sister in LA with his mom, who apparently has Alzheimer's. He got his luggage, and had a massive heart attack in the airport."

Willy was a Jaxx fixture to me. I've lived in this area all my life, and he was always there, every time I was up there. I can't count the number of meals he made me, or how many conversations we had at the end of the night when the national act had rolled out of the parking lot. He will be sorely missed.
