Saffire 56 run with 4pin firewire?

Im buying a new notebook with ExpressCard-Slot and Firewire 4Pin.
Just consider if the Saffire will also run with the 4Pin plug?
Otherwise I have to use my Firewire card again.

I've got the Saffire Pro 24 and I use a 6->4 Pin cord...

Basically it works like this...
-you have a 4-pin, so you can't power the unit over the firewire, you need to use the power supply cord that comes with it.
-if you had a 6 or 9-pin connection on your computer, you could power the unit and use it as well as it's other use.

I'd recommend just buying a 6-pin to 4-pin firewire cord and call it a day, it's not a big deal to have to use the power supply.

Saffire 56 has to run off the power supply, so running it bus-powered shouldn't be a consideration.
