Dude, I hear ya. There's a bunch of stuff I want, but I've got no money. Well, that's not true, I just promised I wouldn't use my paycheck money to buy CDs.

Yeah, I went through my collection today and found some stuff way in the back that I never listened to, so....

J/someone - tell me more about Lord Wind.

Good ol' Robbie Darken's neo-folk project. The debut is basically Graveland-lite. It has guitars, vocals, and tons of keyboards (ambient sounding, not gay sounding). This one is actually my favorite.

The next two are full of Conan the Barbarian soundtrack type stuff. You know, really epic battle anthems. No guitars or vocals are to be found. Just keyboards. Try to imagine an album full of Graveland intros and outros, and then imagine those being very long and drawn out and you've got it.

It's not gonna blow you away, but it's great background music or video game playing music. They aren't too easy to come by, especially Forgotten Songs.
