San Antonio...Another cancelled show!!!!

Just got back from the club where Symphony X was supposed to play this evening.....but was told they cancelled in the last minute. Man, that makes about 3 in a row...What's going on????

I just read the same info on the BG forum. Well, it's not three in a row, but it's three within the last week. I'm going to the Cleveland and Detroit shows this week and I'm getting a little worried myself. I'm really sorry for anyone that has missed them in Florida or Texas so far; I'd be so pissed if the show I was supposed to see them at was canceled. I've been wanting to see them live for 3 years.

Yeah I was there as well...Michael Romeo was explaining that it turned out the club had some electrical problems that caused damage to some of Blind Guardians equipment Supposedly the club was not equipment with enough power to handle all of their equipment...so BG split, but Sym X stuck around to hang out with their fans, which I thought was really cool. They were indeed disappointed, but once again, said they would probably be back on a headlining tour. So hopefully this will be a reality!!! Even though we didn't get to see them play, it was cool hanging out with the guys!!!

I think its really cool that the band stuck around to hang with everyone and everything, though did they venue give everyone their money back or did you get screwed out of that too?

Yeah it was cool of Sym X to hang out...and fortunately, the club did refund everyone's money back. So it was good in the end.

Yea I was there too! Hey N4085B and Dave - Power of Omens, where were you guys that night and how were you dressed? I was with a group of guys and 2 chicks. We seperated alot of the time while we talked to different people and the SX guys. I was mainly around a gilr with long black hair, a dude that was taller than shit, and I have long hair and wore a Demons & Wizards shirt (later an Odyssey tour shirt after Romeo hooked us up.)

But I gave a review of what happened pretty much in my thread on the bb called "Fuck Blind Guardian! Symphony X rules!" Chek it out for some laughs I guess.

Hey there Vertigo,

I was that guy that came up to the show in the truck with Sym X blasting on the stereo. I was wearing my Sym X Odyssey shirt, and the Sym X cap on backwards. I hung out with Mike LePond and a few people early in the night right outside their tour bus, then a little later with Romeo, Rullo, & Pinella.

When LePond split to eat dinner, a few of us gathered around my truck to listen to the new Power of Omens disc just before hanging out with Romeo & the other guys from the band. So I was pretty much in the same spot all night long.... heheheh
