After many years of successful operation in Old San Juan, Hard Rock International will close its coffee in San Juan.

The restaurant located at 253 Recinto Sur Street, closed its from today April 22, 2011. Since opening its doors in Puerto Rico in 1993, Hard Rock has enjoyed a rich history and seized the opportunity to serve the local community.

"San Juan is an important market for Hard Rock International, and the brand has a strong desire to stay in place. According to the vision of Hard Rock, the company will try to relocate the restaurant under the ownership of the company or franchise in a more vibrant and strategic San Juan, which allows greater opportunities for the brand, "says the press release.

Executives are actively exploring strategic locations to Hard Rock Cafe in Puerto Rico, and there are currently several sites under consideration.

The chain has a total of 170 locations in 51 countries, including 133 cafes and 15 hotels / casinos. Hard Rock International is one of the most recognized brands worldwide. Beginning with an Eric Clapton guitar, Hard Rock owns the world's largest collection of music memorabilia, which is displayed at its locations around the world. Hard Rock is also known for its collectible fashion and music-related merchandise, Hard Rock Live its scenery and award-winning website.

I hope Hard Rock Cafe open in the future becuase this only place i know you can hear rock music, hard rock and heavy metal

:erk: Aw, that's lame and very sad! So many good times there were had, and the most important event of this band's history - playing for Steve Harris and Bruce Dickinson!!!! :loco:. We were supposed to play there before Maiden played the last time they were there but things weren't doing so well with the club even then and there was speculation that it was going to be shutting its doors which is why we did not play last time. :( I still have my jacket that I bought there ~ I actually just wore it the other night. Ahhhh, the memories! That would be great if they relocated!! :hotjump:
