I was wondering how this would shake out. I see Yenz Leonhardt(IRON SAVIOR) is the live bass player. I thought perhaps Piet would assume those duties. Just a bit of info to pass along for whoever was curious like me.:kickass:

I hope for.. just Savage Circus tunes. They don't have that much time, so they might as well play all of -their- stuff.

They have more than enough time to play their entire disc... I had hoped to hear an IS song off the first disc (with Piet and Thomen). Maybe now that its Piet, Yenz, and Tom.... we arent that far from a full IS lineup!

I heard they have a good amount of time for their set, plus they arn't playing slow savage circus songs so I'm sure hoping they will unleash a few suprises. Iron Savior is such an incredibly catchy band they need to play! I've always wanted to see this band live.

If you want Iron Savior, then go see Iron Savior (I'm not opposed to them playing a cover, mind you, but I wouldn't suggest it to the band.. on that note, well.. we'll see what happens). On Yenz, I've checked with Curufin, and he said Piet should be on stage. I am now nervous however, that this may not be the case. Though, now that I'm thinking about it, he did mention that lineup would be 3/5 Iron Savior. lol... Thomas Nack, I believe, is the fill in drummer to Thomen.

Okay, I'll get my tickets for that Iron Savior show that's coming up....:Smug:

I would LOVE to hear anything off of Condition Red! That album :Smokin: s

Surely Glenn would use this opportunity to lay the groundwork for an IS appearance next year.

I just booked my flight to Europe! What a deal, only $1400 for my girl and I to fly over to see Iron Savior!! Plus $300 for Rooms and $150 to eat! Why did I wait so long to begin with?? :Smug:

They should've been at ProgPower 5 after the release of Battering Ram, but I'm not a promoter ;) ... I assume due to piet's schedual, it's probably difficult for him to free up time to come do a show.

Though I hold high hopes they're in the wings for next year, along with Elvenking. Those 2 would guarentee my place @ PP8

Vocals: Jens
Guitar: Piet & Emil
Bass: Yenz
Drums: Thomas Nack

Yeah I'm pissed about Thomen because SC was one of the reasons I'm attending the festival, but as long that at least Piet is there it will worth to see them live.

NP: Helloween - 'The King For A 1000 Years'

I'm really really disappointed that Thomen isn't going to be there. Since he left Blind Guardian, it was luck that I'd get to see him perform at ProgPower AND see the rest of the BG guys in Atlanta a few months later. Guess I'm not that lucky, and I won't be able to ask Thomen to autograph my Imaginations Through the Looking Glass DVD :waah:

But I'm still looking forward to hearing Savage Circus anyway

They'll be back around, don't worry!
