Saw Dredg on Saturday

Wow. These guys slay live! Killer songs and great musicianship. I've been a fan of theirs since El Cielo and I didn't like the newest studio album, but they played 4 or 5 of them at the show and they were great.

Anybody else a fan of Dredg?

Love them....I've seen them a couple of times, and they really are a great live band. I think each album they've done has been better than the last, and I really love the new one. However, the stylistic change of the new album seems to have caused a lot of outcry from fans. I think it's a great disc, though. How did the new songs come across in a live setting? I'd guess they were a lot more beefy and dredg-like?

I like 'em. However, after I listen to them I always feel I have to go out in my back yard and sacrifice a virgin or something....

Yeah, they sounded more like Dredg on a live setting. For starters, the drums were real..LOL.
