Peter was using a Laboga Mr.Hector head, and it sounded FUCKIN AWESOME

I am very impressed with the sound of this head, and want to know whats up with Peter's rig and if he has anything special going on. Also, where does one get a Laboga in the US?

Are those and the Engl's so spendy because they are imported from Europe or something?

Yeah, Laboga amps are pretty nice, they are making some good cables also. The company lies in Wroclaw and that is about 100 miles from where I live. Funny thing the Mr. Hector Duo Master costs new in US about 2k $ which is ca. 4000 zloty. The cheapest piece of this head that I've found here in Poland costed 4849 zloty. Interesting, huh?

Yeah, I think the importing from Europe does drive the price up, but then again, when I was in Frankfurt Germany, I played a Savage 120 that had a sticker for 2200 Euros on it, so I don't think they're marked up all that much! Just really high-end amps, I guess, dunno about Laboga. At least we don't get as fucked over as the Euro's do when they import Mesa stuff!
