saxon gig tonight at rock city

It was a good gig, not amazing, just good. Reason for this in my view was too much of an emphasis on the old stuff, which I love but I would like more of a balance and maybe something off Killing Ground, Solid Ball of Rock or Unleash the beast. Sound wasn't too good either for a Saxon gig.
I would still give the gig 7/10 overall though, it was well worth the money and the boys had loads of energy. Nigel GLockler on drums is phenominal!!!
Also, kindof a funny thing... I had a phone call early in the evening so went into the back room down the stairs not knowing it was private. I sat in the corner of the room and then someon came upto me and told me it was a private room... it was Biff Byford!! So I blurted out that I have seen Saxon 6 times etc. and probably made a fool of myself... Ah well I met Biff!
