will the band be undertaking a british tour to promote the new album, hope so i`ll que for my tickets through the ice & snow.

Er don't know what all the above is about! But Saxon are playing the London Astoria on 26th January Ian. Getting queuing! (Or just walk in there cos there probably won't be a queue!).

While we're on this subject does anyone know what sort of crowd can be expected for the Astoria shindig?

Hope it gets publicity because the boys deserve some support and recognition in the country of the eagle's birth. (ok budgie's birth)

Seriously though i believe that Saxon are better now than ever and the recent release of 'Killing Ground' gives them more quality songs to choose from. It would be undeserved if the Astoria turned out to be only half full.

Sadly I think a half full venue is probably going to happen, just because of the excellent advertising of the gig by the promoter. (i.e. Fuck all!)

I'm gonna be gutted if it's only half full. I'd rather a full LA2 then a half full Astoria. Let's hope the promoters get their finger out and start.......er.......promoting! Nearer the time I'm got invade every bloody website I know and spread the word about the gig. Maybe others can do the same.
