The only good film I can think of about football was that film about WWII and the guys trying to escape from a POW camp, the one with fucken Sly Stallone in it, hahaha. I remember liking that when I was very young so in reality it's probably really shit.
Nice. Actually, I think they both were deserving of best supporting actor oscars. That said, I think Connery was more deserving. He was downright excellent with so many memorable quotes as well that he just made work:
"He pulls a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital you send one of his to the morgue. That's the Chicago way."
"Here ended the lesson."
"Sure, here's my warrant." (WHAM!!) "How do you think he feels now? Better, or worse?"
"Enough of this running shit!"
