scales

ok...i know this kind of post has been done over and over and over and over and over and over again.....but what scales should i use to write my solos for my death metal band....we are very heavy and technical at the same time....i know all the modes......but i want to write a solo similar to cryptopsys style of solos...so if anybody could give me any pointers i would greatly appreciate it....just name some scales...or whatever.....

just find the key and keep a harmonic minor scale. Those are fun as hell and go over the best, and as always just play around in the pentatonic modes and you should get some badass shit. Idonno, maybe some diminished ones would be good too =P anyway man, goodluck.
