Hey guys. I recently bought a schecter c-1 platinum and while I was playing a new riff, I noticed the note rose pitch and suddenly died without me changing a thing. The guitar has EMG pickups and will sustain any other notes for days. Now, I tend to think this has something to do with either the truss rod or the action of the strings. I'm waiting for some tools to measure the strings now. Can anybody help with the actual way or technique to adjust the string action? It has a Tune-O-Matic with string thru body bridge.
