Ok here goes.
All the songs on Waiting in the wings are complicated in terms of their chord sequences. Nevertheless, they are fun to try to figure out and play...
Guitar tuned in standard E, not E flat like the CD:
Intro #1 riff(heavy) is in G Phyrgian(C minor with B natural) then moves up to F phyrgian for riff #2.
"When the morning arrives..." B flat minor(most of the song)
Then C Phrygian somewhere...(F minor)
Then B flat major, "when the goddess...." F major chord implied.
solo(Johan): B flat, then....God only knows thats quite the transition dude to Kyrts solo....
Kyrts solo and dualing with Johan: C# minor then to A flat minor, solo ends with power chord E flat then back to B flat minor...
Then yet again another seamless chord change...(fucking amazing) "when the goddess...." rest of song in C minor.
Holy shit.
