Ah the world of PC...
I have many gay friends but that doesn't stop me calling people fags coz its just a pay out ... they don't get offended. Its just a stupid term we use - just like I call you guys affectionately mother fuckers. Its no offense to any mothers or ...er ... fuckers.
The line from Finale was actually about a divorce ... its basically saying BE A MAN NOT A WIMP.
Pink - I know plenty of strong, independent women ... but if I say to a male friend of mine, 'man you are such a girl' it means no offense to you or your wonderful kind (THANK GOD FOR WOMEN!) - its an offense to that person for being a wimp.

As far as I know, Scott married in 1987 relatively young and had a bit of a shitty time of it (Cue Powerwolv telling me THE EXACT DATES OF HIS MARRIAGE!!), so I understand what the line was TRYING to say, I just though the word choice was poor.
...and that's because he was young, angry and times were different. The Beastie Boys reference is a good one.

I don´t use the word "pussy" about people very often, mainly because the closest word to that in swedish would be "fjolla" = sissy or wuss. The word "fitta" means cunt and is a pretty strong. And let´s face it, you only call someone a cunt when you are really pissed.

I have wondered about this from time to time. Not with that song but more of the SOD stuff. Even done in "humor" some of the things said are pretty racest. The USA for MOD album that Scott produced was way over the top, I always wondered what Chuck D thought of the lyrics "fuck those my pals charity and let them die of thrist" and Scotts involvement with the album.
