I don't know where you live, but if you're up north of the city, 95.1 out of Kenosha isn't too bad. It's not the Blaze/Rock 103.5, but it does its job. And, they are pretty open to requests. You can get the station all the way down in the Schaumburg area.

You can get 95.1 even further south than that actually.
It's a decent station, though still completely driven by commercial hard rock releases.
