Scratch mix!!!

Alright guys.

Thanks for all the advice and the help. I just handed off the basic tracks to the mix engineer today so everything should be done soon. I'm gonna post just a few "scratch mixes" I've been doing mainly just so I can get better at some of this shit!

Hey man, very cool song. First off, there is no kick drum evident to me whatsoever. It sounds like there is just cymbals and snare. The guitar/s is very brittle and needs some warming up (low mids). The solo is awesome but brutally high pitched, roll off a little high freq. The definition between instruments is great, but the instruments sound kind of thin. Warm up the mix, pull the guitars and vocals back a bit...kicks, kicks, kicks. Badass song though.
