Seattle show, how was it?....since I missed it.

In answer to SSJ4SephirothX question...That was my final gig with Beltfed Weapon. I was on Lead Guitar. Couldn't think of a better gig to play as a last gig.

Thanks for all the great reviews(Ouch)!! Great crowd, good response. Nobody threw shit or anything! Thanks for having us on the bill Nevermore, good times...

umm head count was like 600 ppl

I had a blast at the show, well worth the $300 it cost in travel and hotel expenses, it was my first time seeing Nevermore and they didn't disappoint, I have to limit myself to a couple shows a year because of concerns about my hearing, and I'm glad I held out and passed up some other shows to go to this one, and the next time they play Seattle, I'm sure I'll be there, their playing really impressed me, as well as the fact that they took the technichal problems in stride, it was a hot sweaty night and I had quite a few bruises by the time the show was over, but it was all worth it, and I can't wait to do it again

They played for probably an hour and a half to two hours. Hard to tell... The technical problems kinda speed bumped the set quite a bit. Their intro fucked up too and wouldn't play.

Jim's bass rig and/or basses were screwed the whole night, I heard him the first and second song and then he pretty much was out of the mix for the rest of the night (and spent the time between every song in front of his rig trying to get it working right and trying to fix his bass). Technical problems suck.

Do you think they'll overdub the intro and some of those bass parts? I guess they'll still have the other gig they filmed anyway for part of the DVD. Where were the cameras in the venue?

Pretty sure you are correct sir. That show was bad ass. One of the better performances I think I've heard Warrel do in some time, considering he can't get trashed before singing anymore he can remember all the words to the songs! and hit all the high notes over and over again. My opinion is that Chris Broderick needs to be full time second axe he fits the band too well and kicks ass on guitar enough that it would truely be more like a cacophony experience live. (this is my guitar nerd opinion) Nothing against Steve, but Chris out shreds Loomis and Smyth in terms of technical ability, as far as I've seen him demostrate, check out you tube and behold his mastery of the guitar on almost every front, and style if you don't believe me. ALl elite guitarists no question. Too bad I didn';t stick around for another hour to get backstage or whatever, they got done playing their encore around 1:00 am-ish maybe a little later, after that it was pretty lame standing around as they took care of shit back stage in preparation for the show sunday in cali. At least I got to say Hi to jim, and harass Jeff somemore, he's always in a personable mood with a sense of humor to match. Overall, the opening bands were not my favorites, I'm in my own local band and they can all rag on me if they want. Beltfed weapon sounded bad ass for once, too bad lead guitarist guy and the drummer are done, leaving that band crippled again. I've played with them before when they had no second guitarist and their second drummer (marine guy) and it wasn't nearly as good. Classic death metal with awesome shredding come on! the other three bands the braindead included, bleh! que terrible?! Nevermore, awesome. Real ultimate power I got so excited I kicked my mom in the face the next day.

Chris' mom? Hi if it's you.

I'd say "ditto", but everyone would expect that from me.

I`m reading those posts and hardly believe this show attracted just 120 fans  Dont know what to think of it....was that place that small to gather just a 10 dozens of people? Or the band was prepared for such a tiny fan-base from their hometown? I realize NM have way better recognition and fan-base in EU than in the States so it`s really hard for me to comprehend how weak the whole metal scene in USA must be...I was told that Machine Head barely fills clubs here in SF and in EU they sold out every venue or 4-6 thousand arenas...

Anyway, I bet NM gave 150% of their energy on stage despite technical problems I read about. And those who attended also gave their best shot as well!

Also the setlist suprised me a lot! But that would mean that the main part of this upcoming DVD will probably include the footage that`s still to come.....Bochum 9/12.....I`m pretty sure NM`s setlist will contain most of the songs that were not played in Seattle, especially that this gig is planned for almost 2 hours as I read in some news. And I bet that this 666 tickets are already sold out or soon to be. And I know that some of the Polish enemies will be there! Too bad I will not be there....
no no tommy that guy was saying it was 120 degrees inside the venue...it was a packed show...sold out, somewhere a round 600 peeps

They only played the first 2 minutes of What Tomorrow Knows and then went into Garden Of Gray (probably because of the big bass section in What Tomorrow Knows).
Nah, that was the plan all along. The setlist says "What Tomorrow/Garden" instead of listing them both individually.

The show was so kick ass. Jim gave my friend a pick and i asked chris for one and he went and got me one. Then Jim invited us back stage. After the show Got interviewed then chilled with the guys for an hour. It was a dream come true

he dropped it in my hand that it bounched out of my hand (cuz you hit my hand) and went threw
the hole in the stage and then i pulled out my lighter to find it and you grabbed it even thoe it was mine! its all good i got a drum stick from Van anyways and half of the set list
