Should be fantastic. I never thought id get a chance to see them in my life before they retired, so i lucked out that theyre playing this one date here in southern california. Anyway ill give a full review for those who care (or have heard of them) when i return home tonight.

Alright, well i just got back. Pretty great set. They played a couple clunkers (but i cant think of a band that doesnt really), but they played every song i did want to hear for the most part...their "staples" if you will. All their voices werent really weathered or hurting, they were all on point and did a pretty impressive show. The sound was a bit low and a couple times a few of the channels cut out, losing guitar and vocals for a few moments, but it wasnt that big of a deal. I didnt realize they were only playing this ONE show in the USA, nowhere else...so it was a good opportunity and who knows, maybe even my last to see one of my favorite bands from decades past. 8.5/10

nights in white satin is seriously one of the most pwningful songs you could ever hope to hear on a clear-channel classic rock station

That seems odd. One US show? Do they feel like the US won't be interested? Or is it just too much time and they're too old for it now?

neither. this was a special event. i guess the price was right for them to come out here...had nothing to do with booking more dates or age, blah blah.

Actually, MB expected to tour, but found out they were only booked for the fair, so they were pretty disappointed.

What would be the mandotary Moody Blues discography ?

Just Got Days of Future Passed and wanted to explore the MB discog further besides Search for the Lost Chord meaning the 1966/1972 period and is there anything good from the post 71/72 period ?

Last ?, are all albums that orchestra heavy or Days of Future passed is an exception ?

Thx a bunch.
