I have my graduation ceremony in a couple months, and the deadline for the application was yesterday; needlewss to say...I forgot :waah:.

I work on campus an average of 15 hours a day for 5 days a week, and I still have class for three hours on saturdays. If I add in the time it takes to commute...
On top of that, as head of the Philosophy & Religious Studies club, that adds another four hours of discussions and planning for activities to do around the city. I just plum forgot about everything.

So I came in today and was hoping to turn it in, yes I was late - but an exception can always be made. I know this can be made because I know how long it takes to finish the paper trail here (I do work on campus after all).

Of course...they close early....fucking bastards.

sob story and backround details aside...

My QUESTION!

If I bring it up Monday, and I explain that yes it was my fault...does anyone here think I may have a remote chance at getting my application submitted?

Honestly there is no way that they could have finished filing all the applications in two days....I just want to know what some of you think about my chances...

I'm just reeking of anxiety and rage right now  - I shopuldn't have been so stupid!

I think there's a good chance. It's in a few months you say? Just come in with a smile and a booming "Good morning!!" and things should run pretty smoothly ;)

Crash the ceremony.

And while you do it, wear nothing but a little fangirl Dark Funeral g-string. It will give people something to laugh about.

^

Well, I just realized that my spring break is this week...which means that I will HAVE to wait a week after it is due.

The reason I'm worried about this is that I was told by a councelor that I MUST graduate, otherwise I wouldn't recieve my three A.A. degree's, or honors credit from graduating. I have no idea why this would be true, but the fact that a councelor told me scares me.

Can't you call or email those people that your application will come the first day after the spring brake?

If you have been active in school (which you have), chances are looking good

Well, I go in this morning, and I accidentally run into one of the counselors I know; unfortunately I take up two of her appointments as we get the damned paperwork ready (turns out for three A.A. degree's, everything needs to be in triple triplicate....(?why?). After feeling bad about that I make my way to the vice principals office; he was in a meeting at that time, so I left my number and hopefully he will get back to me today. I may have to ditch work for a bit (or even class…preferably class), but I will make sure to talk to him if given the chance

Hopefully he feels that I’m worthy of this exception…because that is what matters at this point.

I FUCKING GOT IT!

THIS THREAD IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED :kickass:

unless of course they lose my paperwork ....whcih they better not.
